Adelaide River

Our last stop before we make our way up to Darwin. We decided to stop at Adelaide River for a night to check it out. The caravan park was actually really stunning! It’s a small setup but felt like we were staying in Thailand with super green grass & tropic style trees surrounding us at our campsite. ⁣

Great Facilities

As most would know, travelling at this late time of year it’s very humid and hot. We are very dependent on our aircon of late for night time. As we plan for each place we stop, we have made sure there is a pool available! lol ⁣

The pool would of been the biggest one we have seen since our stay in Cairns. Not only did it have a refreshing pool, there was a great looking pub behind it. And in true Big Oz style, we couldn’t resist! ⁣

Pub Feel

It was appropriately named the Adelaide River Pub.. Honestly when it comes to pubs, we really enjoyed this one. Cold beer, amazing food plus a huge outdoor grassed area for the kids to go nuts. It was a great way to finish off our night in the town. ⁣

What's Around

Two highlights was the fuel, the cheapest we have seen in months! Unleaded was a $1.09 which is just next level for us being in the red centre for so long. And the other was the coffee from the general store ???? honestly some of the best coffee we have tasted hands down! A must if you love your coffee in the morning.
