Lee & Jenny’s Bush Camp

The Area

God it’s good to be back on the road 🙌🏼 nothing beats pulling up to a new location and not knowing what to expect, absolutely love it!⁣

That’s exactly what we did when we pulled up at Lee & Jenny’s Bush Camp. Back story.. We ran into these amazing people while shopping at Anaconda in Darwin and got chatting about their caravan park they have spent the last 10yrs building. We were certainly intrigued and had to head out to see it for ourselves. ⁣

It’s a 2hr drive out of Darwin located literally right next to the Daly River. For those who aren’t familiar with the area, it’s basically Barra central. It’s a well known hot spot for fishermen to flee and spend days or even weeks catching Barra off the bank of Bamboo Creek or by boat on the Daly River.⁣

After arriving, we soon realised how amazing this place was, it’s such a stunning location! Definitely had a very cool bush vibe with a large amount of trees and bushes which makes up most of the caravan sites. It has some of the greenest & lushest grass we have seen yet! ⁣

What's on offer

They also have available three sets of cabins ranging from 3 to 5 star quality. Very popular for the large amount of fishermen that come to stay all year round. Keep in mind too, this whole park was designed and built by Lee & Jenny themselves which is a true credit to them for what they have achieved. Absolutely stunning location & very well maintained. You can see the passion they have for this place! ⁣

All in all highly recommend even if your not a mad keen fishermen but just love experiencing some quality parks, this is definitely one you need to put on your list 100%, great for kids with the amount of open room they have. Pool also onsite with toilet blocks & camp kitchen. ⁣
