Richmond

Around town

Our last leg of the Australian Dinosaur Trail was Kronosaurus Korner. Personally, this was a favourite with one of the best displays and plenty of great info and knowledge about the dinosaurs found in the local area.⁣

We managed to checkout what we could on our 3nights stay in Richmond. In true Big Oz style we had to have a look at the two main pubs in town lol... First off, was the Federal Palace Hotel located on the Main Street. This was a really cool old school pub, we missed out on lunch this day but the beer was still nice and cold. ⁣

Recommendation

The second pub was the Mud Hut Hotel, we managed to get here in time for a feed and beer and it was definitely worth it! The food was amazing. 😍 Would recommend this pub for a lunch stop on your travels. ⁣

Lastly was the large lake in town the “Fred Tritton Lake” which was located right next to Lakeside Caravan Park which by the way, was a great place for only $28 a night! You can swim in the lake plus they have their very own kids waterpark down by the lake which was a very welcomed sight for us.
