“In true Big Oz style we had to have a look at the two main pubs in town”
Our last leg of the Australian Dinosaur Trail was Kronosaurus Korner. Personally, this was a favourite with one of the best displays and plenty of great info and knowledge about the dinosaurs found in the local area.
We managed to checkout what we could on our 3nights stay in Richmond. In true Big Oz style we had to have a look at the two main pubs in town lol... First off, was the Federal Palace Hotel located on the Main Street. This was a really cool old school pub, we missed out on lunch this day but the beer was still nice and cold.
The second pub was the Mud Hut Hotel, we managed to get here in time for a feed and beer and it was definitely worth it! The food was amazing. 😍 Would recommend this pub for a lunch stop on your travels.
Lastly was the large lake in town the “Fred Tritton Lake” which was located right next to Lakeside Caravan Park which by the way, was a great place for only $28 a night! You can swim in the lake plus they have their very own kids waterpark down by the lake which was a very welcomed sight for us.
