Timber Creek

What to expect

Our last stop in NT, only 2 hours away from the WA Border. We pulled up here for two nights as we had two days left of our 14 day countdown for Covid. Not a lot being this far out, but still a great little park to setup for a few days. ⁣

The park is located behind the Servo-station which houses a convince store, pub & restaurant. Literally a one stop shop for everything you need, also available is washing machines and toilets and Australia Post. ⁣

Campsite

The park itself is nice and spacious with plenty of room to setup with power & water, surrounded by large trees and plenty of wildlife. At the back of the property is a small lake which houses a good handful of fresh water crocs which the park feeds during tourist season. Although we didn’t see them being fed, it was interesting to see the crocs swimming around in the river. There are also cabins available for anyone interested. ⁣

The park also supplies a decent playground for the kids to stay entertained, it was a lifesaver for Jayda as she spent most of her time there playing. Plus, the swimming pool of course, which was one of the freshest we have swam in for sometime. All in all, a great little spot over before crossing the border. Bring on WA!!
