We’re Chris, Sian, Jayda and Jack, the crew behind Big Oz Explorers.

If you’ve followed us for a while, you’ll know we’ve spent years chasing the open road around Australia, sharing the good, the hard, and the hilarious along the way.

We even had a crack at building our own campground, and yep… that was an experience. Let’s just say it didn’t quite go to plan, thanks to the NSW Council. But that chapter taught us a lot, and it’s helped shape what we’re doing now.

These days we’re up in Far North Queensland, setting up the life we always said we’d settle into, a more grounded base for the family, while still keeping that Big Oz adventure rolling. With Jayda heading into the high school years and the kids’ routines changing, we’re leaning into a “semi grounded” season, with trips packed into school holidays.

And don’t worry, we’re not going quiet. We’ve got big travel plans for the year, both around Australia and overseas, plus shows, events, and a few projects we can’t fully spill the beans on yet. We’ll be heading to Mundi Mundi with Torus RV, and there’s also some fun stuff brewing with the Discovery Group!!

If you want the most real time updates, Instagram and Facebook are where we share the day to day. YouTube will still get videos too, and we’ve got a mountain of content from the new place ready to roll out.
