We’re still here, still doing life, we just stepped back from YouTube for a while to focus on the family and getting stuck into our new home. We visited Andys Chasm and were very lucky that the weather was just perfect for all the swimming and jumping involved. What an adrenaline rush!

We’re officially halfway through our Cape York trip and it’s time to start heading south again! After a full week of rain, we make our way back over the Jardine Ferry, which has been known for some serious delays this season. A few quiet days camping at a gravel pit give us a chance to rest and reset before we push on to one of the most incredible spots in all of Cape York… Chilli Beach! With epic beachfront campsites, crystal-clear water, and endless beach tracks to explore, this place has definitely earned a spot in our favourites list. We’ve finally made it to the very tip of Australia, one of the biggest milestones of our Cape York trip! This week, we stop in at the famous Croc Tent to grab some merch before making that unforgettable walk to the northernmost point of the country. Jack takes to the skies with the grandparents for a helicopter ride over Cape York, and we wrap it all up with a stunning day trip to Albany Island with fresh-caught seafood, cocktails by the water, and one of the most beautiful beachfronts we’ve ever seen. In this episode, we’re back on the Old Telegraph Track for Part 2, and there’s no turning back now. After wrapping up the first half and bypassing Gunshot, it’s time to take on every single crossing from here to the end… including the one that haunts most Cape York travellers... Nolan’s Brook. With memories of 2020 still fresh (when our mates couldn’t make it through Logans Crossing), we weren’t sure which would be worse — Logans or Nolans. Either way, we’re about to find out. Join us as we tackle deep water, soft sand, and slippery exits in one of the toughest and most iconic stretches of 4x4 track in Australia. This episode we hit the bottom half of the Old Telegraph Track, and things get wild fast. From river crossings and rough tracks to a few unexpected breakages, it’s one of those days on the Cape where anything can happen... and it does. Our Ford Ranger ends up doing something it probably shouldn’t (you’ll get a laugh out of that one), while Sian's Dad’s Patrol cops a few surprises of its own. The obstacles are nothing like our 2020 trip, deeper crossings, rougher exits, and a few new challenges thrown in for good measure. Jayda’s loving being back on the tracks, Jack takes a little while to warm up, and by the end of the day everyone’s in full adventure mode again. Did we take on Gunshot this time? From Archer River to Bramwell Station, this leg of our Cape York trip is packed with action and a few surprises. We kick things off by helping fellow travellers seal up their vans against the dust and show how our own dust filter is holding up on the corrugated tracks this year compared to our last trip. The corrugations are no joke – so we put the drone in the air for the first time to capture the roughest section we could find! In Weipa, we catch up on some admin, explore Cullen Point and New Mapoon (and discover another cracking burger spot). Then it’s time to push further north – with a night at Bramwell Station before rolling onto the iconic Old Telegraph Track. This is just the beginning of the 4x4 challenges ahead!
