“We paid $36 per night for power/water hookup and with prices starting from $25”
What a cool place! But very hot this time of year travelling in mid November. Lucky Julia Creek has some great options to keep you cool. One being the amazing town waterpark/pool. What a great setup, it was one of the best little water parks we have seen yet, right be to the giant swimming pool. Safe to say everyone was pretty stoked with the find.
Second is of course the biggest reason you come to Julia creek. To experience the bath houses and enjoy a relaxing moment under the stars with a cheese platter & wine. It was the most amazing experience and as good as you think it’s going to be. Definitely one to put on the bucket list! 🙌🏼
All round, the town was small but had great features. We found ourselves a really cool cafe located on the Main Street that does the best iced coffee’s ever and the biggest sausage roll you have seen in awhile lol... It’s called Corrinas Cafe & Bakery. It was a perfect stop for us as we left in the morning heading further west.
We stayed at the Julia Creek caravan park just off the main road. It was a great spot 👌🏼 powered sites, toilets/showers and of course the famous baths. We paid $36 per night for power/water hookup and with prices starting from $25, you can book yourself a bath house on your visit.
