This was definitely one of our favorite free camps just outside of Karratha. With a dam to swim in and water front views, this is a great spot to pull up. Exit off the main road onto a well maintained dirt road and travel only 10mins to this amazing stop. There is plenty of room to fit a good amount of vans in but be sure to grab yourself a water front site as sitting by the water was super relaxing. The swimmable dam for the kids is fantastic, not to mention the wildlife that hangs around the waterhole which was very cool to watch & experience as well. The sunsets of an afternoon were spectacular too, at golden hour the place just comes alive. Definitely a great one to put on your list if you’re in the Karratha area and looking for a relaxing free camp to park up at.
