We have only been in south WA a week and already, we are discovering some absolute gems to camp at! The landscape changes dramatically when you head south of Perth where you find yourself amongst open farm land, rolling hills and scenic views. It’s definitely something we have been craving after being in the ‘outback’ for so long.
We found ourselves another @hipcampau to stop at for a couple of nights. A working family owned cattle farm that homes Angus cows that you can see running around the fields directly across from your campsite. They also have plenty of kangaroos that call the place home that you’ll see kicking around in the early morning and late afternoons.
Each of the four sites have a huge open field complete with fire pit which we couldn’t light as it’s still during the state fire ban. But regardless, fire or not, this is one incredible spot to checkout & experience! One huge highlight we enjoyed was sitting outside of a night time and staring at the night stars which twinkle in the sky here.
For us, this is what we love about caravanning & camping on the road. Finding these places that are so simple yet amazing. It’s these locations that you’ll remember forever!
