This location will go down in history as one of our most memorable camps to date. Why? It was the people we had join us at this stunning location. One thing we have learnt on the road is you can stay at camps but not enjoy yourself vs stay in the worst camp but have the best time all because of who you surround yourself with. Having great company can change everything! 🙌🏼
Not only did we manage to score a great site next to the ocean but 4 other families to share it with. On this particular trip we managed to build the worlds best beach couch with fire pit, entertain the kids with a tinny and inflatable tube, snorkel & spearfish and just have a great time with awesome people.
We stayed on sites 71/72 which are deemed the softest sites in South Lefroy. It was no issue for the 5 of us entering & exiting on low psi tyres. The road in through Ningaloo Station isn’t the best with plenty of corrugations and hard rocky sections. But, if you travel from Yardie Creek over the river inlet it’s a much more appealing track and less challenging. Just make sure you check the tide times for when you reach Yardie Creek crossing.
Honestly one of the best camps we have experienced so far, we had the opportunity to crack out and run in the new fire pit from @ozbox_concise plus Sian cracked out the fire stick for some fun.
