“It was honestly like walking into a scene from the Lord of the Rings”
Wow! Where do we start...
Zebedee Springs was just incredible. It was honestly like walking into a scene from the Lord of the Rings, a real rainforest feel with super clear flowing water and lots of moss covered trees. It’s a surreal feeling walking in, but extremely inviting!
It’s crazy to think the whole place is created by a natural spring that pours out from the base of a huge mountain side, it’s impressive. There are so many scatted waterholes for you to relax in and really take it all in. The springs are also a great temperature as they’re thermal, which makes getting in very easy.
We never asked why it was called the Pigeon Hole Lookout. 🤦🏼♂️ It will remain a mystery! But for a lookout, this was one of two stunning locations that were open to watch a WA sunset. The landscape around this area is just magical, once that sun hits a certain point, the land comes alive with some insane colours. Words can’t describe the beauty that happens!
It’s definitely a lookout you need to experience, not only for the sunset but for what you can see from up so high. River systems that run as far as the eye can see and mountain cliffs that are just huge! Even the odd croc swimming up the river 🐊 it’s a must see experience!
