Durack River

Camp

This was a great free camp that was located right next to the river with a high vantage point on the cliff side. Many spots were scattered along the rivers edge for campers to choose from, all with their own unique view. The entry road into these sites weren’t too bad with a couple of tight sections but nothing crazy enough to stop us pulling our big 21.6” van through. ⁣

We managed to collect a ton of firewood around our site without any issues which is always a nice treat when at a free camp. We also threw a few lines in hoping to catch something… but had no luck 🎣 Definitely recommend this stop. Scenic with a ton of room!⁣
