Where do we start! This is one stunning part of Oz, the most northern caravan park in Australia cape york camping Punsand bay They have big sites to accommodate large caravans. We had no issues backing our 21’6” van into a site with ocean views. They have powered sites with non-potable bore water but fresh drinking water is available at New Mapoon.⁣⁣

Cape york camping punsand bay have a great big bar & pool setup with some of the best views of the ocean. The food was absolutely amazing, the fresh mackerel on the menu was to die for 🤤 and best of all, Punsand Bay is only 30mims from the tip of Australia!!⁣⁣

They have showers & toilets on site which are amazing with large facilities. They also have a laundry to try and clean some of that red dirt out of your clothes lol... It definitely is a great choice if your heading up to the top.
