Roko Island

The Island

Well it was very refreshing to exchange the cars & caravan for a boat & island experience. Roko Island is located off the West coast of Punsand Bay. We had a boat meet us on the beach at Punsand early in the morning, which transferred us to the island. A quick 30 minute boat ride and we arrived. ⁣

When arriving to the island, we were amazed by the jetty you walk along to the resort. The colours of the water and the island itself were stunning. We walked straight to our tents which were absolutely outstanding, it was glamping at its best! ⁣

Breakfast, lunch & dinner was supplied with our stay, which was definitely a nice change lol... The island isn’t huge but it’s still big enough to walk around to checkout the beautiful surroundings. ⁣

We were lucky to have the opportunity to head out on a boat and go fishing as well 🎣 And what a day it was! 🤟🏼 All four of us caught fish, and decent fish they were! 3x mackerel & 1x blue fin tuna! Dinner was delicious with freshly caught tuna steaks that night... 🤤 ⁣

What a place to relax and chill out! Island life at its best. 🥰 Considering everything that’s included in your stay, it is like a Balinese/Fijian getaway for a quarter of the price. If you haven’t heard of Roko island 🌴 we strongly suggest you check it out and get over there!⁣
