Camp

We finished our Dampier trip off with a bush camp located right next to the ocean. The ocean that has the second biggest tides in the world 😲 it’s honestly a sight to behold! It’s one thing to see a large area full of water, but then for it to be completely empty like someone pulled the plug out of the bath. We have never seen anything like it before in our lives! ⁣

The camp itself was really great, plenty of grassed sites to pick from. A lot are located near the water, each with their own fire pits and most with water to hook up to or a tap nearby. To be honest, the water was some of the freshest we have drank on our travels even though it is straight from the ground. 👌🏼 ⁣

The Area

Again, the landscapes up this way are just breathtaking and beautiful, it’s something you just have to experience yourself. This is also a great location for fishing, only a short walk from camp you can throw a line off the rocks and try your luck. ⁣

This place is only just down the road from Cygnet Bay pearl farm, we found if your not keen on spending a few extra dollars staying at the pearl farm, but keen on a few tours, this would be a great home base to do exactly that. Just something we picked up on after doing both. ⁣
