The caravan park

Our very first stop in WA! First of all it’s so good to be over that border finally. Has been a very long time planning with Covid etc... but after everything we are here 🙌🏼 we ended up in Kununurra for our first stay as we had a small issue with our 240v plug on the outside of the caravan. The sparky’s in town sorted us out. ⁣

We ended up at the Kimberlyland Holiday Park which is located next to the lily creek lagoon just on the outskirts of the town. This is a fantastic spot! We scored a great site next to one of the biggest boab trees we have ever seen, which definitely reminds you your in WA. ⁣

Facilities

Our site was also located right next to the pool/playground & cafe. Couldn’t of picked a better spot to pull up for a week. The cafe is one of the most popular in town with some of the best homemade sausage rolls, quiches, wraps, smoothies and amazing coffee. ⁣

Located right outside the front gate is Celebrity Tree Park with playground and a boat ramp for all the mad keen fishermen to drop their boats in. The surrounding lake that joins the Ord River, has a resident fresh water croc they feed of and afternoon around 4pm. Have really enjoyed this park and would 100% stay here again in the future.
