Can’t beat a good free camp while on the road. Yule River was another cracking spot that we discovered on WikiCamps while looking for somewhere to pull up after a day on the road.
Located just off the main road, you’ll notice the camps are scattered along a river bed. As you drive through the gate, you’ll pop out into a large open area where most travelers will park up as it’s easy & spacious. Hot tip: if you continue to follow the track, you’ll discover a good handful of other sites that are more secluded.
We managed to find ourselves a great spot located not far down the track amongst the trees with our own secluded campsite. A short walk from camp, you come out to the huge river bed which still had some water laying about.
