Town

Officially the furthest we have traveled to date, Karratha… 🙌🏼 We had the opportunity to park up the van in the front yard of some absolute legends house. Dave & Nik are supporters of ours and watch our adventures on YouTube, they reached out and offered us a spot to stay at, which was incredible. They have lived in the area for many years so they became our locals guides as well. ⁣

To be absolutely honest, we were very surprised by how amazing Karratha actually is and what it has to offer! A lot of people take Karratha as just a working town with nothing but jobs and $$$ to offer, as we did too. Like anything, once we started to explore, our eyes we’re opened to what’s around the area. ⁣

What to expect

We were shown some epic camping locations not far from town. Some sites were right next to the river and others right on the beach 👌🏼 Did I mention that it also has some of the best fishing areas on the west coast? There are 4x4 tracks everywhere, & we mean everywhere!! We nicknamed it “The City of Tracks!” The place is jammed packed full of awesome places to explore and experience. ⁣
