Lazy Lizard Tavern & Caravan Park

The Camp

We’re continuing our drive south on our way to the WA border. We have a few days to kill before we are officially ‘clear’ to cross the border after spending time in Brisbane. We have been stopping into different locations spontaneously which has been a lot of fun. ⁣

This particular stop was something we decided on the night before leaving lol... In our books, the less planned trips are always the best 🙌🏼 and we can say this one definitely delivered. Honestly , we had it all at this park, so happy we stopped to check it out. ⁣

There are lush campsites to choose from with a huge toilet/laundry area which by the the way, was absolutely stunning! Tea that’s right, the toilets were definitely a highlight here and well worth checking out 🚽 by far some of the best built dunnies and showers we have experienced. One of those things you just have to come see for yourself! ⁣

Things at camp

A part from the stunning lavatories, they also have a very large pool available which is located next to a very well built bar & restaurant area. This place has put some time & money into the business as it was deadset amazing. ⁣

To top of what seems to be the perfect spot, the food! We were given the heads up about how good the meals are here and we can definitely back that up 100% 🤤 wow! For such a spontaneous stop over for the night, this is definitely one location we won’t forget. The Lazy Lizard had everything you could ever want in a park, highly recommend this stay. ⭐️
