We have been fans recently of exploring caves and underground wonders. This place was another amazing location for stunning cave systems and spectacular views! What a great experience. ⁣

This place is so rich in history around enormous earth melting moments that happened thousands of years ago. We learnt about the Undara volcano, lava tubes formations & earth shaping events! To be able to walk through the lava tubes and experience it in person, is just spectacular. ⁣

What to expect

Mother Nature is one beautiful beast and is full of surprises. We are truly lucky to have all this in our backyard! The tour we attended ran for 3 hours with a briefing before we left, then we jumped onto a bus to head out to the caves. When we arrived, it was only a short walk before you start to see some of the most amazing sights. ⁣

Seeing these cave systems and natural places was such a joy. If you have never considered anything like this, we encourage you to give it a crack. It gives you such an understanding of the history that formed the world we live in.
