Camp

A cracking little free camp 30mins south of Karratha. This was great as its located next to a body of water which is home to a family of swans 🦢 and yes, it is Croc free & swimmable. It’s been tough getting back in the water for us living north for so long lol but we are getting better. ⁣

We scored ourselves a great little spot under a tree and right next to the water with a walkway to the water. Pretty good considering it’s first in best dressed. We only stayed the one night as it’s technically a 24hr stop, but in the off seasons you’ll see some staying longer. ⁣

Was a great setup watching the wildlife on the water while listening to some favourite tunes with a cold one in the hand 🍻 and the sun sets right over the water. Incredible spot even if it is short lived! ⁣

This particular area is one of two sections you can camp, as you pass the main entry you’ll cross a bridge heading south and on your right as you cross you’ll notice another large area to camp by the water. Not as nice as the original side but still a great spot. ⁣
